I want to connect my T5026 emachine to my panansonic hdtv to stream movies. I read online that possibly a hdmi to dvi cable might work. But I'm to afraid to try after hearing that it is possible to break your tv. Any suggestions?

Well if the only connection that you have is either an HDMI or DVI then you dont have much of a choice in the matter. Does your tv have a VGA port?

Oh btw I have not heard of anything wrong with using a hdmi to dvi adapter that would break T.V.s
