Get it from Toshiba.

The only warranty to consider if you buy a Toshiba is the Toshiba
"Systemguard" warranty, bought directly from Toshiba (1-800-Toshiba).
This warranty covers accidental screen BREAKAGE, or other ACCIDENTAL
damage (e.g. you drop the laptop), in addition to failures.
[Note, Toshiba sells other warranties, but they do not have the
accidental damage coverage, which is really important in a laptop.]

Get the one from Toshiba. It's good worldwide at any Toshiba Authorized
Service Provider. Also, if you're in your first 30 days give serious
consideration to Toshiba's System Guard policy. It's pricier but it's one
of the few that will cover one instance a year of ANY accidental damage such
as spillage, getting run over by a car (don't laugh...I know someone that
happened to...he got a new better computer since it was cheaper for Toshiba
than building a new one from scratch as nothing survived), getting dropped
in a swimming pool, kids playing kick the computer, etc. This is in
addition to the normal parts and labor warranty and is good for three years.
