and one of the 4 pin is using an 3pin to 4pin atx adapter.

Searched around and some says 2 4pin = 8 pin but others say that 2pin in 8 pin is actually for grounding so it will burn?

Please help.

Or should i just get a 4 pin to 8 pin adapter. Which I doubt so as my GTX 465 uses 550w

If you had 2 standard 4pin connectors i would say, sure no problem.
Although a 3-4pin adapter then that plus the 4min will work I wouldnt risk it.
I'm assuming you have a fairly good mobo since there are 2x4pin connectors on it, so why risk using a poor PSU on it that does not have proper support.
Spend a lil $ now on a better PSU to save more $$ later when the current psu fries it imo.
