MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050 on my Syncmaster 226BW

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: First time build! Looking to spend less than $1000 total including tax and shipping.. I will use price matching to newegg.ca or directcanada.com, etc.

I'd like maybe 2 500GB HDD's for lots of storage.

I've been reading a lot of new builds but there are too many opinions to keep up with I need a new PC because my current rig can't play many new games even on the lowest settings.. I'm itching to play Crysis, COD5, FEAR2, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect with high quality settings.. as long as this is doable I'm a very happy camper! Thanks all!

EDIT: So I guess the ATI 5800's come out tomorrow.. I don't know how much that will affect me. Also I wouldn't be against SLi or Crossfire, I'm just ignorant in that department.. trying to read up on it now

Hard drives. the samsung f3 is faster and cheaper. get 2x. will save you money from the ones you chose. check directcanada too.
