Hello, I've picked up a new nvidia GTS 250 and am in the process of installing the card. I have removed my old pci card / drivers and have put this one in. Fan spins up when computer is turned on. Downloaded the newest drivers from nvidia website manually (as the automatic would only recognize the onboard). When I try to install the drivers, an error message comes up reading "gts 250 the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware".

Don't know what to do at this point, any solutions out there? Thanks.

Register or log in to remove.

uninstall all previous drivers. if you had ATI, download driversweeper.

Make sure the drivers are the correct version (correct version of windows, 32bit or 64bit), etc

Turned out to be a bad card, placed in another machine and same issue. Bought new one, everything's working well! Thanks for your response.
