I noticed last night a Sims 2 podcast had appeared on the iTunes
website. And it's by EA!! Doesn't say much, actually it doesn't
say anything at all. Just a couple of tunes from the game, the theme
tune and one called Banana Blast which I don't recognise.
Bit of a missed opportunity to post something about Nightlife. Even if
it just going over stuff already know.

I had no idea what a podcast even was, so I didn't pay it much
attention... what is it exactly? An audiocast? Streaming web audio?
What's Pod?
I'm out of it :-p

Strictly speaking a podcast is like a talk radio show you download and
listen to on your iPod. (although in reality it can be played on any
mp3 player) It shouldn't be all music like EA's one but people
talking about the game.
I listen to quite a few of them at work. To name a few: PC Gamer, Game
Spot and Disney have podcasts. The BBC is slowly making all it's talk
radio downloadable via podcasts.
However, most podcasts are done by fans. Quality varies a lot but
I've found some very professional ones by fans.

So the Sims 2 podcast is only music? Is it music from Nightlife?
