I'm looking into building a rig in the next couple months or so, and I think I have most parts chosen out (although that might change in time), but that isn't important for this post. I'm looking for a monitor that is probably around 22", and definitely HD LCD if possible. Another thing I'm intersted in is finding a monitor with an HDMI input (so I can use my PS3 on this monitor). Do these exist or should I be looking at tvs with a VGA input instead?

Thanks.

ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 12000 : 1) Built in Speakers - Retail

Both solid choices, the smaller monitor has a better response time, which will lead to better image quality and motion quality when gaming.

Thanks, just for future posters, I'm living in Canada, so if you could use newegg.ca that would be great. If you feel like you need to refuse using .ca sites, I'm sure I can locate the matching parts in newegg.ca :P.

Thanks again.

I was hoping to not go over $250 CDN

personally i would get for this price range [ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor - Retail] it seems as it would be the best option for your money

Edit:if you can spend 270 CDN then get [ViewSonic X Series VX2260wm Black 21.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 20000:1(1000:1) Built ... - Retail]

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate all your answers. I think I'm going to stick with the 23.6" ASUS as I've found one that is within walking distance of where I live and is actually cheaper than what is posted on newegg. Thanks once again.
