Hello ...
I am building a new computer after some... long while...
Usage : The primary use of the computer is hopefully going to be 3d modeling software, and multiple instances of such. I use this computer for studies which occasionally involve running :
- DAZ Studio (3d rendering, posing, etc...)
- Facegen (3d rendering, facial synthesis...)
- GenCrowd (Multi 3d rendering, facial synthesis, etc...)
- Multiple Firefox Tabs...
- Image Browsers...
- Photoshop, etc...
- Foobar (music...)
So, much multitasking, and in that regard, four gigs of ram sounds dandy...
Something else of note, i am potentially considering installing seperate operating systems on seperate hard drives, more specifically, XP pro for study software, etc...
and Windows 7 for games, which brings this rambling to games...
I might occasionally play video games on the computer, and a computer that could handle such might be nice, though, i am guessing that a computer that can handle intensive 3d files might handle games in some regards...
Readily Available / Not Included with New Computer :
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Speakers
- Chasse
- Debating on a PSU
- Monitor
Parts Preferences :
- Neutral
Overclocking :
- If the cooling is ample, potentially debatable...
Build Date :
- Neutral, Though was hoping to build in somewhat a short while...
