You have a monitor, or you know which monitor you plan to game on. That monitor has a size (like 24") and a "native resolution" or "best resolution" (1920x1200 pixels).

Need to know that because the more pixels you need to fill the screen, the faster the video card has to be to get you , eg, 24 or more frames per second (FPS). Otherwise it . . . looks . . . like . . . a series of snapshots rather than a movie.

Make and model of your screen would be enough.

For that screen size, you can normally use a modest cpu and video card. But for games like WoW - and by "like" I mean MMOs - you need faster cpus to avoid stutter.

Your budget is right at the edge of an i5 750. That cpu is powerful and will overclock itself (I gather you don't do that stuff) when running one or two cores, like when you play an MMO.

I'll put one together, and meanhwile perhaps someone else will pop in with a cheaper AMD system that you might consider. (I don't do AMD configurations.)
