How do I start Lanmanworkstation? It appears that part of the program is missing.

To start your pc networking as workstation, go to Start, Run, type "services.msc", scroll down to "Workstation" or re-sort by name clicking the top bar. Right Click "Workstation" click "Properties" set the start mode as "Automatic" and click the "Start" button. It should start all by itself from now on.
