Ok so I've never done any OC'ing or even owned a real multi-core so I'm learning all of this now. I unlocked my 4th core without any other changes and everything runs fine but I'm worried about temps and stability. I ran prime95 for 3 mins and reached 62c and then 4 minutes reached 66c and a warning came up from my AI Monitor that freaked me out - however - no Prime95 errors at all. I have C&Q enabled and i have included screen shots of both idle and running prime95 (approx 1 1/2 mins). I also included Prime95 results after 4 mins - no errors. When I run games like Dead Island or Skyrim my temps are stable at around 45c and I'm not running any intensive graphics programs all day or anything. Just downloading stuff (which keeps C&Q enabled) and playing games for an hour or so at a time. How do these look and how can I make it better? Thanks for the help in advance.

66c is way to hot for that cpu... The max temps for that is 67c. I have the same processor but mine is not unlocked and I have an aftermarket heat sink and temps are around 36c. Oh and how did you unlock your cpu?

Max temp is 72degrees. I take it 62degrees per core. Nevertheless, it is hot. You should buy an aftermarket cooler. @Penley54: unlocking may be tried by swutching ACC on in the BIOS.
