Hey guys,
This is my 1st post here so hi everyone.
I bought an Alienware Aurora 5500 desktop for €50 (bargain of the century) as there was an internet cafe that went into liquidation and the case was locked with no key (quite simple to unlock it).
It is working fine but I have an ATI Radeon 2600 xt AGP graphics card that I'd love to use with it but I need a BIOS update. Have been in contact with Alienware and they don't want to know as it's second hand and they have locked the BIOS so only Alienware updates will do and you have to log into the 'my hive' section of the Alienware site to access it. I believe the latest version is v27. Have searched everywhere online but to no avail. If anyone has this type of machine, can you please, please login to the site and post the update or if anyone knows where to get it I'd be greatly appreciative. Have had this problem for about 2 months now and simply don't know where to go from here.
