Now that an Nvidia card can be used for Physx along side ATI Cards in X-Fire, what should you look for in a card that will be used only for the Physx application? Does it matter? I'm not saying I'm buying one but if I wanted to try it what would I look at? The new Batman game promotes Physx and that's why I'm interested. I'm thinking Physx doesn't need to be high end right? Do some Nvidia cards run Physx better than others?

No, it doesn't need much. I thought I heard in the 9600-9800GT range was plenty.

And, didn't the opposite just happen? Unless you could the community hack, NVidia stopped allowing ATI + NVidia PhysX.

You can do PhysX on the CPU though in some games like Batman.

That changed a couple of days ago. It was reported on this site even. There's a patch to allow ATI and Nvidia to work together now allowing the use of Physx.

A 9600GSO is a good physx card.
