Install video card and have a high pitch beeping error.

Do you have to plug extra power in?
Cant remember if the 6800's are bus powered, but thats the 'error code' cards give when you dont plug the power in.

Sure it's not the RAM? Sometimes if you knock it loose it goes beserk.

One of the components in your computer is not seated properly (normally G-card or RAM) or you have not connected the power supply to the graphics card.
