Hi,
I need some help with regards to overclocking my GPU. It is the Nvidia GeForce GT 555m with the latest certified driver (285.62) and I've heard it can be done quite easily.
I am completely new to overclocking etc so any help would be appreciated.
I have download MSI Afterburner and by the looks of it, all I have to do is increase the Core clock.. (what about memory clock)
But what are the dangers, what temperature should I let it go up to? Also, what is 3D Mark 11 and how would I find it useful?

Thanks a lot

Basically laptops and overclocking do not play nice.

Laptops have a hard enough time dealing with heat and overclocking adds heat. I really doubt any safe overclock you could achieve would make a noticeable difference in any games.

3D Mark 11 is a benchmarking program.

Thanks for the reply.
I've heard the GT 555m should overclock easily doesn't get too hot.
What is benchmarking as well? Sorry :(
