Alien computer wont turn on

Have a new Alienware compute won't start at all today (boot), any ideas

Well a few questions:

1. Is the computer dead silent when power button push or do you hear fans running?
2. If the fans are running, then is the monitor cable connect fully?
3. If theres no fans running, is the a power switch on the Power supply (if there is one) turn on and the power cable fully in?
4. Did you just get this computer today or have you had it a few weeks?
