5 molex case fans

I had ordered a case for my new build that had two fans. However a friend of mine gave me a much better case. The case has five fans with 4-pin molex connectors. Each fan actually has 2 connectors attached. One male and one female (not sure if that is the correct terminology).

My PSU has three molex connectors. Can I plug each fan into each other and plug the final molex into the PSU?

I know I won't be able to control the speed of the fans but do I risk anything by doing this?

Thanks.

Hey all,

I found my answer in an older thread. I know how annoying it can be for you guys to have to repeat your self over and over again!

From what I read, its OK to "daisy chain" all 5 fans and connect them to one molex from the PSU. As long as I don't also connect them to the Mobo.

I have an ANTEC 430W PSU, so unless anybody sees any danger in doing this, I'm good to go!
