Hey all

I just recently purchased a new hard drive so I can record my gaming experiences on it with fraps, I can record successfully, but when I open my folder with the videos I've recorded in on the second HD I'm faced with this progress bar which never fully completes, and it's literally impossible for me to preview these clips on any of my media players, it loads the first few seconds then just hangs. All of the other folders which don't contain as much data are fine to open, which indicates it's the volume of data in that folder that's the issue, I've spoken to other people I know who use a second HD to record on, and they don't experience this problem.

I've checked the power settings in control panel and there's no issue there.

The only way I can preview the clips is if I open them one by one in Vegas which isn't ideal at all.

My PC specs are more than adequate as I experience no lag in recording games at 1680x1050 with sound.

i500 @ 3.3ghz
4 GB Ripjaw Ram
Ati 4890
Second HD: WD Blue 500gb 7200rpm

Any help with this would be appreciated.
