The Asus card is actually cheaper then the one you recommended.

(never mind I noticed the one you recommended is 1gb and only $25 more, might go with this one instead).

and the HD you recommended is cheaper but I notice it's only 16mb Cache, do you know if that will make a huge difference compared to a 32mb Cache?

You don't need triple-channel RAM with AMD. Here's some reasonable dual-channel: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231276
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH - $89.
The ASUS card doesn't exhaust its heat from your case. It is worth another $24 to get one that does.

+1 on the RAM I was just getting the Ripjaws link:)

The xfx card that Obsidian recommended is better than the ASUS like jtt said.

The cache size on the f3 will not affect it much at all. Performance will be better than the WD because it has one single 500GB platter.

With the current suggestions I have brought the price down to $512 which is what I was aiming for. I do plan on over clocking the CPU and was wondering if the mobo and the power supply would allow this with no issues?

Your motherboard is a great overclocker and the EA500 is more than enough for your build. In fact, you could go with the Corsair 400CX and use the extra money to buy a CPU cooler.

CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Retail $49.99 - $10 MIR

XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - Retail $36.60 - $10 MIR

it should be fine cpu clocking doesn have a major impact on power consumption but this is a good psu with a good mir http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817341016

I like the OCZ obsidian86 recommended, great deal. The Corsair shortstuff_mt recommended is a even better deal but I am nervous to dip below 500w. According to http://www.extreme.outervision.com my build will use 351w of power. Isn't 400w to close for comfort?

The 400CX is a quality PSU and will easily power the system. I wouldn't use a cheap 400W PSU, but the 400CX is actually under-rated. It offers more power than many cheap 500w - 550W PSU's.
