Overclocking gpu help

ok guys heres the thing i unlock my 6950 to 6970

then i oc it well everything was fine till gpu 850mhz and memory 1325 max temp 73

now when i try to oc further my ups starts acting strange it starts giving a loud beeping noise

can someone please tell me is this the oc limit or my ups is faulty

I'm no expert, but it's probably something with the UPS, if it were your GPU, it would probably take the entire system down with it.
Perhaps something with the GPU drawing more voltage?

Are you sure it's your UPS beeping and not your motherboard or something like that?

yup i think its the ups time to change it am currently using apc es500 which is giving low o/p i guess
