Woo first post heh heh. Just buying an HP Pavillion P6240F for Christmas and wanted to replace the worthless integrated graphics with a HIS Radeon HD 5750. Because this desktop only only comes with a 300w PSU I had to upgrade. After a bit of looking around I found this hec X-Power Pro 600 for a decent price (budget isn't very high) Now i'd hate to order these parts and have them not fit on Christmas day so I figured Id check in here. Id realllllly appreciate if anyone here could tell me if the video card and psu will fit and work correctly. THANKS in advance.

Heres the links I hope they help. : )

Erm you are right on the 450w, though I do remember seeing 40A on a 12v rail on some 400w(which is what the card needs.

Where did that PSU get good reviews? I can find no professional third party site who has even reviewed it. Low quality PSUs can put your whole computer at risk. That red switch on the back = low quality. Newegg reviews should not be taken seriously, they would post the cookie was if newegg sold cookies... I highly advise you to get an Antec or Corsair.

Well, that HP is so unbalanced. You could never use nor need 8gb of ram for gaming. Building would be a much better option and you'd come out with a much higher quality and balanced computer. As per your questions, you both will work but I highly advise aganist getting that PSU. Its junk plain and simple. If you want to go with that computer and a new psu, you need to get a Antec Corsair or Seasonic 400w PSU. You can find both the Antec and Seasonic at newegg and the Corsair at Ncix.com(they are CA).

The computer is already bought and hey maybe one day the full 8gb will be used. Parent's arent too keen on me ordering these parts online let alone a full computer that I have to assemble my self (im 16 haha) All the reviews on that PSU seem to be fine.. and for that graphics card I need a 450w minimum.

88 miiiiiiiiiiilesssssssssssssssssss per hourrrrrrrrr.... lol. Newegg.ca is where I'm ordering from. So that Psu is actually 100 bucks on the Canadian site, plus shipping and HST it comes to around 130 lol. Cant do it : (. Think the antec will be ok? It's much better than the other ones I was looking at right?
