Hi,

I have two 4870 video cards. I want to connect four monitors. I am able to connect two just fine. However, I am not having any luck with the 3rd monitor. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I do not see the second display in the device manager.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Parrish

Solution
Also make sure the card is properly seated in the second PEG slot, proper cables connected, and also that the BIOS has opened the lanes to the card.

After that try swapping the cards in their respective slots and see what that does.

I run 3 monitors on 2 4850's. Go into Catalyst Control Center, make sure crossfire isnt activated. Once you're sure of that go to the desktops and displays tab, and enable the 3rd and 4th screen thru there. You should be able to right click and choose enable on the screens.
