MSI HD 6970 OC Lightning 2GB

Hi all , Looking for advice preferably from some one with experiance with this card , The pre overclock is great and all but i hear the card can easily get to a 1gh and 1450 mem up from the default 940 and 1375.

But when ever i try even the smallest over clock i get these weird lines from left to right across my screen , they are pretty faint but have a kind of warped effect along them , and eventually the card will crash to a grey screen with alternating greyshades and i have to reboot my system.

I have been using the MSI afterburner software and trying diff voltages etc but nothing seems to work if anyone had any idea's i would greatly appreiciate the help, will post my pc specs below for reference.

  1. Try an easy overclock with CCC. Don;t use MSI Afterburner.
