Frequent bluescreen problems

My computer, as you may have ascertained from the thread title, is bluescreening very frequently, far more frequently than it should be. It's stopped giving useful error messages, but when it did give reasons it gave IRQL_not_less_or_equal, win32.sys and page_fault_in_non_paged_area. I suspect this has something to do with my motherboard, it's a budget board with a less than stellar reputation, and I've had problems with it before, hence why I'm placing this question here. The prior problem was that I couldn't get a fresh install of windows to work on it on two other hard drives, if it's any help.

My computer setup is:
ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2
8600GTsomething
2.8 GHz Intel E6300
2 gig DDR2 corsair value select RAM
running Windows XP Pro I think

Nothing in particular has been triggering the bluescreens, but it happens more often when I play games.

I would really appreciate help with this, it's been driving me up the wall.

Are you sure the OS is legal, a bluescreen shouldn't be happening at all. If you have blue screens playing games the video card is the most stressed, try lowering the quality a little.
