I was wondering what is the power supply for a ATI HD3870 XT version? ive got a 300W computer and i want to know if it will work? Will it work on the Acer 5700GX computer?

depends what brand that PSU is, and what other components your running

if you have something like an E6550, 2gb, 1 hdd, 1 DVD drive etc then it will work fine (provided that is a branded PSU eg FSP etc)

Even if your PSU is branded, it would run near or beyond the 300W.

Rite now the computer im using is an Acer 5700GX. 3.0 Ghz intel processor. 2 gb ram, and a 85900gt currently. Running on 300 Watts everything. Will i need to get s PSU or not?
