Did you also disable "hide protected operating system files"?

It looks as if this virus creates a ton of new folder and hides a bunch more. This article makes it seem that if you were to do a system restore to a time before the virus all might be ok. As another possible soution, you could go to the folder where you think hidden files exist and run a command prompt from there, issuing the command attib -h *.* which should unhide all the files in that folder.
