Hidden files on Application Data

My NOD32 found rotinom virus on my laptop. Found in my /Application Data/.... but I browse it, I can't see the hidden folders even though I already set up the folder option to show hidden files... These hidden files eating up my drisk space... Pls help me on this.

  1. Did you also disable "hide protected operating system files"?
  2. Yes! I already did that.
  3. It looks as if this virus creates a ton of new folder and hides a bunch more. This article makes it seem that if you were to do a system restore to a time before the virus all might be ok. As another possible soution, you could go to the folder where you think hidden files exist and run a command prompt from there, issuing the command attib -h *.* which should unhide all the files in that folder.
