You need to have Administrator privileges to remove the administrator account or downgrade to USER. I would suggest delete and create a custom User account within which you can manipulate exactly what can and cannot be accessed without presets left over.

"sitting in one place" ? Sure, sit in front of the computer to be affected. Your remote termination of admin rights on another computer smells of malicious intent.
