after i put in my old ATI gfx card i tried to remove the Nvidia drivers such as the performance driver and the nvidia system monitor it says i need nvidia hardware to remove it. Any ideas how to delete this.

you can't, nvidia is aids for computers

Use Driver Sweeper in safe mode.
