Just pieced all this together for $350 second hand.

not bad or did I just light some benjis on fire?

(2) 8800gt with scythe coolers

dvd drive (new)
card reader (new)
inwin B2 bomber case (new)

could I have done better within that budget?

Good job, you'd be hard pressed to put together a solid system let alone any system for that little. While some of that stuff is older, its solid. Are the scythe coolers aftermarket, or OEM installs?

The coolers are aftermarket on xfx alphadogs...whatev. after review this is badazz for 350 bucks
