What are the specific directions from the manufacturer?

What happened when you tried to follow the directions?

Hi - I'm having the same problem and can't seem to work it out. The manufacter's instructions are as follows:

1> edit a .TXT file,as:
2008-08-08 20:08:08 this is the current time, check carefully and make the correct format.
2> name the txt file as setdate.txt
3> insert the recorder-USB to your computer, copy userconfig.txt to the root of the U_DISK of the USB.
4> remove the USB from your computer, power off, then power on, now the time will be setting.
5> when complete, the time will be save forever.

Upto point 2 I'm ok, but can't work out how to do the rest. When I right click the USB it open's up properties, treating it as any other portable media device. I'm not sure where or how to carry out point 3 above.

Any help would be appreciated.
