I have to choose between one of these two cards. I just have two factors to consider:

Upgrade & price: I plan to crossfire whichever one I get in 2-3 years, whenever I need to. Looking at the future, which one would be the best choice? I know 4890 can play any game right now, but will it play any game for the next two years and/or would a crossfire last me 3-4 years?

5850 will probably be $260 when it's out and 4890 may go down to $150 in a month or so. $110 is a lot of money in my budget, so keeping those factors in mind, is the 5850 worth it?

What resolution do you play at?
What mobo do you have

The 4890 will do well enough and once crossfired, do very well in the future. Should be fine for 3 years, 4, you'll start to have to reduce settings. You'd be able to do the CF sooner than 2-3 years. The price will fall for a while and then as inventories start to dry up, they'll climb. Watch how the 4870 has gone. It dipped down to $106 amirs and is already starting to climb back up again to the $120 and up. The 4890 will follow the same path probably.

That sounds fine. I guess I'll go with the 4890, probably MSI.

Also if you wouldn't mind answering, would the Antec 300 Illusion black case be big enough to house a 4890 or should I go for the Antec 900? Most of the cases I see on newegg has great reviews, and although I want my case to last a long time, there's no point in overspending for it if the cheaper cases are fine.
