Anyone have and had issues with Velociraptors in Raid 0? I've never had either but always wanted to try them. My last hard drive was a 300gb Seagate Drive and I'd used 279GB before my system crashed. So I'm starting new. I can't afford a SSD big enough for my needs so a fast drive seems the way to go. Think I'd be OK with just one 300GB V Raptor?

The raptors arent that great anymore, they are tied by the 500GB platter drives in many cases now, get a few 500GB Samsung F3 drives, they are fast and only $50 a piece. Or you can get a 500GB F3 and an SSD for the OS and other small things still for about the same price as a VRaptor.
