What drivers do I use to get my new western digital sata drive to load windows x

I downloaded the drivers from gateway for my machine, but It crashes installation when it says starting windows. It says the hard drive is configured wrong. The hard drive is a wdbaax5000enc-nrsn. Gateway won't help me unless I pay them. Western digital won't help me unless I pay them.

If you have sata drivers from gateway burn that on a cd and press F6 at installation for additional drivers (SCSI). Load those drivers and continue installation. Assuming you have your windows install CD, not backup/recovery they usually give consumers.
