So, with some finagling I managed to get the hyper 212+ evo installed (first time ever... wasted wayyyy to much thermal paste)
now my temps before were idle 33c max load 65c ... now it idles at 26c max I have seen (20+ minutes of P95) is 38c (socket temp) core temps max is 29-30c
Also for some weird reason the fan on the cooler runs at 100% all the time... no big deal though I cant hear it with my headphones on... even without sound
my video card idles at 37c and maxes out around 68 ish (6870 twin frozr 2)
Case is HAF 912 (with stock cooling except I added one 120mm to the front) would adding a 200mm to the top help temps even more? as exhaust obviously.
Also according to my thermostat ambient temps are 22c (where they stuck the temp monitor diode I have no idea, its an old model from like the 90's)
