Hello, I have just downloaded the latest ATI drivers for my video card xfx HD5870 but when I run any benchmark test on it it shows up as an HD5850 .
Also the most annoying thing happens, with these drivers it shows my video card as the HD5800 series but i want it to show the exact model. How can I make it so it shows the exact model cause everywhere else in my pc due to the drivers it sees it as a HD5800 series

It's a *really* new card and it will show up properly in software soon enough.

yes ok the website and benchmark stuff i can let go, but the catalyst center is the annoying thing. is there a way to change it from 5800 series to my exact model?

it does that even with my older HD4670. the new drivers change it to HD4600 series

Not that I know of. Try GPU-Z, it is usually updated pretty quickly and should show the correct model.

Phenom II X4 BE (phenom II X2 550BE)

i've seen people that make it show the cpu temp. Mine stays at 0C
is there any way to make some software show it?

First make sure you have the newest BIOS for the board (if possible). That sometimes helps. Then, try HWMonitor (CPUID) which often has one reading (core or CPU) correct.
