NAS replace 1 drive with 2 drives Tags: NAS / RAID Synology Storage Last response: July 31, 2011 4:36 PM in Storage Share batleny July 31, 2011 7:49:42 AM Hello, I have a Synology DS211j with 1x 500gb drive. Can I take the drive out, and put in 2x 2tb drives and set them up in Raid 1, and then place the 500gb drive into my computer and transfer all the files onto the newer drives?
