I wanted to buy nvidia 880gtx graphic card, for my desktop

Extreme processor QX9650
M.board- DX48BT2
4 GB DDR3

can you suggest is this the right card I'm looking for
or there is a better option and also it will be great if I can know the price too.

no I will not buy 8800gtx, better buy 4870 or gtx 260 or wait for nvidia gt 300 series and then buy some dx11 card... but first I need to know what is your budget, what games do you play and what resolution do you use???

Though it is a good card but it is old now...

No such thing as a 880GTX. I assume you mean the 8800GTX, and that is a aging card in which the old 8800GT is based.

For a system such as yours you should be looking at something quite newer.

i think a 4850 which is like an 8800 ultra btw, costs $20 more. and a lot more powerful than a 8800 gtx. or better go with 2 9800gtx+s in sli to get a gtx 280(sli speed wise).
