For those interested, http://slickdeals.net has a good deal today, 03/16 on Mushkin 6-8-6-24 DDR3-12800 RAM; 2x2 looks to be $20-$30 cheaper than Newegg, shipped; 3x2 is same price or $1 more, so MUCH cheaper. It's 1.65v. They are $82 & $83.

Unfortunately, this may have been an error. Although I DID receive a confirmation email, I also got this:

Please accept our apologies

Beginning Monday, March 15th and extending into the morning of the 16th, we received a high volume of orders for our new Ridgeback parts. This was based in part on the fact that an erroneous price was posted in error at several popular web destinations. We received approximately 70 orders before our e-commerce system's failsafes kicked in. If you placed an order for a Ridgeback part today or yesterday, your credit card has been charged and you have no received no confirmation email, please expect that your card will be refunded as fast as possible. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience, and hope to serve your computer component needs in the future.

...so, I don't know if I'll get it or not, since I DID did get a confirmation. In any case, the list price is well over twice what I paid, and even the "web discount" price is a little over twice what I paid. Hopefully the error was in the 3x2GB kit; $82 for a 2x2GB kit just looks like a good deal, not a mistake.
