Hi,
I have a MSI p45-NEO2 mobo, and I'm trying to squeeze just a little bit more life/performance out of it before I hop on something like Ivy Bridge.

Anyways, the OC utility that came with the MoBo sucks, and they are not updateing it anymore....

So, are there any alternative overclocking utilities that I could use on this mobo?

Thanks in advance.

There are a number of utilities to overclock the video cards but not the cpu. MSI's Afterburner is a great tool for overclocking your video card.

Yes, OC'ing the CPU. Afterburner is for the GPU unfortunately.

I don't know of any utility for overclocking the cpu other than what comes with the motherboard's utility software on the cd.

The best utility is called your bios!

Ugg, I'm lazy. I would like to use the BIOS, but would prefer an "on demand" utility that will change the settings on the fly lol

It's the safest method and requires alot of tinkering for best results.
Plenty of great guides on the net.
Most included software utilities for oc'ing aren't very good imo.
Alot of them seem to overvolt the cpu core = bad!
