Hey Ironmonger,

So I had this same issue as you. It wouldn't show up at all. Now I was trying to connect to a school server instead of a FreeNAS server, but same difference. A fix for me was to do this:

1. When on your desktop, go to the task bar

2. Click on the option File

3. Find the option in File, Connect to Server

4. When it opens, select your service (SSH, FTP, Windows Share, etc...)

5. Fill in the required information.

6. Connect!

Also if you want to get to the home folder, don't input a specified path. Just put in the IP address and if you have a username login.

Hope this helps!!
