I am not up to date on the best price to performance to storage ratio of SSDs.

Anyone know a good SSD that has fast read (I am a gamer mainly) that is preferrably 120-128 gigs in size that is around $200? Specifically off of Amazon as i live in Alaska and they are the only ones i have found that do free shipping.

THANKS!

You've got a motherboard that is SATA 3.0 6Gb/s capable. It has two ssd controllers. One is integrated into the Intel Z68 chipset. The second one is a Marvell Controller. You'll want to connect your ssd to the Intel SATA 3.0 6Gb/s ports on your motherboard.

For speed you probably ought to choose an ssd with a SandForce 2281 Controller. Here are your choices in no particular order:

Corsair Force 3
Crucial C300
Crucial M4
OCZ Vertex 3
OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS
OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G
Patriot Wildfire

Get the ssd with the best price. For gaming there won't be any difference between the ssd's. The ssd's will not improve FPS or the actual game play. About the only thing an ssd will do is load the game quicker and load levels, charts, and maps quicker.
