Xp speed

hi, i have built a gaming pc and am planning to install xp home edition. will xp make my pc slower then if i use windows 7??? thanks

Windows XP only support D3D 9, so if you want to play games with that use D3D 10 or 11 features you must use Windows 7 instead. Also, Windows 7 64-bit will allow you to install and use more than 4GB of memory.
