Are you sure it has a x4 and a x12? I'm looking at your motherboard and all i see is the 24 pins connector and two 4 pins connectors. The two 4 pin connector is used by the cpu and usually one 4 pin connector is good enough to run cpus mounted on the motherboard... You don't need to fill both 4 pin power sockets unless you're planning to do some serious power hungry overclocking, at which point a single 8 pin connector could be used instead... Hope i helped... my mistake. what i meant to say was it has a 2x4 pin connector(total of 8) and a 2x12 oin connector( total of 24). do i connect both or just the 2x12?
From what you said, im assuming its just the 24pin connector unless im going to overclock, in which case I plug in the second 12pin connector. is that correct?
