NEW BUILD SUGGESTIONS

Hello all,

great advise in all forums.

I am in need of any additional or changes needed for this new build.

current thoughts:
i7 (920 oc to 3.8), ssd for operating system, 2 additional sata hard drives in raid 0,
dual 295 gtx graphic cards in SLI and overclocked, 12gb DDR 3, vista 64 operating system, want to run three monitors 25" led, i am very limited on monitor information for LED vs. LCD. mother board is the X58
This will be my last build for awhile and i hope to be able to do small up grades as needed. please advise

If you fill out the form properly, we might get a better understanding from what you need and what your budget is.

A pair of 5870s will be pretty close in performance to a pair of 295s in DX10 but use a ton less power.

In two years when you want to play a DX 11 game the 5870s will be infinitely better because the 295s just wont be able to.

The current 5870(1GB)s run 3 monitors each, the eyefinity model will run 6 monitors each.

Nvidias 300 series may be out by the end of the year or early next year.
