Bios programming

Hello,
Now I want to write a programme which will be written in bios.When the OS runs normally,the programme is loaded in the memory already and I could activate it by sending an interrupt to the system (for example,pressing a key).
Could you please recommend some correlational books or articles to me?

Exactly what is it you are trying to do? There are many programs already available that allow you to change BIOS settings from inside Windows. What settings do you want to change?
