I would like some advice on putting together the best gaming/overall system for about $ 1,500. It needs to be quiet. I have a 24" LCD display ( 1680 X 1050 ) with only VGA and HDMI connections.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: November 27th, 2009 BUDGET RANGE: $ 1,500

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Office Applications, Web Surfing

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Case, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, O/S, power supply is 600 watts (may need to upgrade), 2 1 TB WD black HDs

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel CPU ( prefer i7 - thinking 920, not sure about 860)

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: quiet.

Note: case is AcoustiCase SoundMaster 360 with sound deading material

I am looking for advice regarding Motherboard, RAM, Video Card, and Power Supply.
