Just wondering, does the i7 have the same integrated on-die PCI express?
Depends on which i7 you'r talking about cause socket 1156 that you can use for i5 and i7 has only 8x8, but i7 socket 1366 has 16x16 so if you whant to cf or sli use 1366 or amd mobo and cpu as papperman posted.
