Since i bought my 23" acer LCD monitor my FPS on EMpire Total War , GTA IV, and other Games have slowd down, which should i Upgrade my CPU which is a Core 2 Duo @ 2.80 GHZ or my Geforce 9600GT 512mb DDR3? but for a long time i have been planning to buy a better CPU but when i got my new LCD im rethinking whether a faster CPU would help FPS for my games , which should i upgrade first? please help!!!!!

Is better change first the GPU, the CPU is good for now.

Thanks for the Reply, if you dont mind me asking, what GPu would you recommend ? but my budget is minimal, (still a student :D ) so a card that is cheap but can perform almost as well as the High End GPUs is what i need?

Which is your budget exactly?, in my country a budget of student maybe is different from your country.

Ill convert my budget to Dollars its around $150, so what card can i buy?
