What other components will you be putting in the system? They will both last just as long, and neither are DX11 compatible. The primary differences are that the 785G runs a bit cooler, but the 790GX has a more powerful integrated GPU, and supports 8x/8x crossfire to allow you to run two powerful video cards. If you only ever plan to run a single video card, most people do, then the 785G is a better option as it is the cheaper board, in general.
