Hard drive full cant access my laptop it says dtlcdr is missing

Help please!!! my hard drive is full and is saying on start up screen press anykey to restart, however when i prees any key its not restarting, would i beable to connect another laptop to try and wipe it? thanks kerry11

If you have anothe PC in the house, you can slave the laptop drive in the PC and format it from there.

If you are trying to delete everything on the drive, you could just boot from your windows CD, perform a clean install, and when given the chance, delete all partitions on the drive, then create a new partition, then let the install continue.
